About

I'm Kristin Marquet.

I've spent seventeen years learning to see one thing: the distance between how good someone is and how they're seen — and how to close it.

I'm a brand strategist and creative director. Across seventeen years and more than five hundred brands — over a hundred of them in fashion and luxury — I've done one kind of work in a hundred forms: taking people and companies who are genuinely excellent and making the world see them that way. I'm a two-time bestselling author, and my background runs through PR, brand strategy, and creative direction. But the throughline has always been the same word: presence.

You're not underbuilt. You're under-perceived — and the fix is an edit, not a reinvention.

The Tenure is where I write about it. Most advice for accomplished women is about doing more, being louder, becoming someone else to be noticed. I think the opposite is usually true. The work is already excellent; what's missing is being read at the level you operate at. The essays here are that argument, made one piece at a time.

And when you want my eyes on yours, there's The Read — a private, one-to-one read of your positioning and presence, and a written brief on the single move that changes how you're seen. Not coaching, not a course. My judgment, applied to you.

The Tenure sits between two other things I've built: One Quiet Hour, where the products and tools live, and One Quiet Morning, my studio, where my team and I build brand and presence for clients outright. The Tenure is the part that's only me — my writing, and my read.
